Name: Kageyama Hikaru

Personality: To say the least, Hikaru's a pretty nice kid. He's pretty easygoing and gets along well with others. He just wants what most people want: to have friends and to be accepted. Hikaru's a bit of a doormat, it's easy to talk or drag him into things (and quite often physically drag at that). It's a habit left over from his childhood where he agreed with everyone because he thought that would help him make friends. He's mostly past that stage now, but he has a few tendencies every now and then… All in all, he's a bit of a pushover, and he knows it. The Inazuma Eleven wiki describes him as a carefree person; however, this isn't quite accurate. He cares a lot about the opinions of other people, especially when they pertain to him—it's why he was so hesitant to reveal his surname initially: his uncle, Kageyama Reiji, had antagonized Raimon's soccer club in the past.

Despite all of this, Hikaru's overall a cheerful kid. He's not hopelessly optimistic, but at the same time, not unreasonably pessimistic. The one time he'll break his pushover-ness is when things need to get done. When that's the case, he will buckle down with an almost obscene amount of determination (as is very common for Inazuma) if it means he'll be able to overcome the odds that much easier. Hikaru's also, unfortunately, a bit gullible (one of Kariya's favorite pastimes is playing tricks on him), but he's a quick learner and he works well with others. All that aside, he's also a good friend and a sweet kid, a great person to have around.
Powers: In Inazuma Eleven, almost every character that can play soccer has access to hissatsu techniques. Hikaru's only shown technique in the anime is Extend Zone. It's shown to be able to create a crater when he uses it; however this will most certainly not be the case in United One. The most it will do is give the kick a little bit of extra power and give it a pretty purple light show.

First-Person Sample: [The feed opens up to show a somewhat nervous-looking, purple-haired boy.] That was some power outage, wasn't it? Well… I wasn't here for the entire thing, but it seemed really, really bad! Was it really across the entire region? [He almost looks like he doesn't believe it.] Everyone's okay, right? I know there are back-up generators and stuff, but…
Third-Person Sample: Hikaru was so done with this cave. It wasn't that he minded the bats (though they tended to swarm when he stopped to rest), nor did he terribly mind the dark—he had a battery-powered lantern and it still had a few hours to go on it. What he did mind, however, was how big this cave was! He had to have been inside for three hours already, and from the looks of things, he had barely made any progress! It didn't help that the Shroomish at his feet, who was having a hard time keeping up anyway, was getting worn out from battles. Hikaru was tired, he was hungry, and his feet were starting to hurt.

And if he tripped over one more Geodude--!!

This was getting beyond ridiculous. He glanced down at his Shroomish once more before he kneeled down. "Do you want up, Mycelium?" Before the small grass-type could reply, Hikaru had already scooped her up in his arms and begun walking again. He was so done with this cave.
